Tour Dates Set for Twelve Angry Men, with Wendt and Thomas

Tour dates have been announced for the upcoming national tour of Reginald Rose's classic courtroom drama Twelve Angry Men.

George Wendt ("Cheers," Art) and Richard Thomas (A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Democracy) star in the tour.  The dates and venues are as follows:

The tour is based on the Roundabout Theatre Company's 2004 production of the show (and once again helmed by Scott Ellis).  Wendt will play Juror #1 and Thomas (A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Democracy) will be seen as Juror #8.  More casting has yet to be announced.

Twelve Angry Men, in which jurors deliberate over the fate of a young man accused of patricide, was extended multiple times during its limited run at the Roundabout. Starring Tom Aldredge, Philip Bosco, Larry Bryggman, Peter Friedman and others, it opened at the American Airlines Theatre on October 28th, 2004 and closed on May 15th, 2005.

The tour of Twelve Angry Men will feature its original Broadway design team, including Allen Moyer (sets), Michael Krass (costumes), Paul Palazzo (lights) and Brian Ronan (sound).
