Hugh Jackman...One Night Only will take place tonight, October 12, 2013, at The Dolby Theatre, marking his first time performing in Southern California. Alec Baldwin made his debut last night on MSNBC with UP LATE WITH Alec Baldwin that premiered on October 11 at 10 pm. On last night's show, Baldwin talked to Democratic mayor candidate Bill DeBlasio about his plans for the city, and hosted the guest for the entire hour on his new set, which resembled a diner. Three-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Parade, Mamma Mia!, 'Smash') completes the star-studded cast of the highly anticipated industry reading of Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin's musical Ghostlight, which had a sold-out and extended run at The Signature Theatre as part of NYMF 2011. A.R.T. at Harvard University's sold-out production of ALL THE WAY, written by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and directed by Bill Rauch, stars Bryan Cranston (AMC's 'Breaking Bad') as Lyndon Baines Johnson. The show ends its run today, October 12 in Cambridge. Next, it will open on Broadway, with star Cranston moving with the show this winter. No official dates have been set, so stay tuned for updates. The Guardian reports that Shakespeare might have penned parts of three Elizabethan plays previously believed to have been written by other authors. This news comes as the result of new computer analysis and linguistic 'fingerprinting' tests. The plays are Arden of Faversham, The Spanish Tragedy and Mucedorus, and will be included in a new collection of Shakespeare's work. (more...)
