Universidad de la Habana

The University of Havana or UH is a university located in the Vedado district of Havana, the capital of the Republic of Cuba. Founded on January 5, 1728, the university is the oldest in Cuba, and one of the first to be founded in the Americas. Originally a religious institution, today the University of Havana has 15 faculties (colleges) at its Havana campus and distance learning centers throughout Cuba.

Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas

Established in 1952, the Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas has two campuses. One is located in the heart of Cuba, in the city of Santa Clara. The other, more remote campus, is known as the "Universidad de Montaña" and is located in Topes de Collantes - a nature reserve park in the Escambray Mountains. The university has 13 faculties and about 4,000 students. The Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas offers programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in fields including law, psychology, humanities and sciences. Recently a bachelor degree in journalism was also established.

Universidad de Cienfuegos Carlos Rafael Rodríguez

Located in the beautiful city of Cienfuegos, which is known as La Perla del Sur (The Pearl of the South). Those who choose to study in Cuba at this university have the opportunity to combine a good quality education with the beautiful tropical beaches found on the island's southern coast. Founded in 1970, the Universidad de Cienfuegos Carlos Rafael Rodríguez has four faculties: Agrarian Sciences, Economic and Enterprise Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences and Humanities. It ranks within Latin America's top 300 universities.

University Study Abroad Consortium

The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) has provided university students with quality study abroad programs for 30 years. USAC is a non-profit, university-based organization with 41 program locations in 26 different countries. Students from universities all over the world attend USAC programs.

Arcadia University/University of Havana Summer

This unique program brings you an exceptional educational and life experience in one of the most unique places in the world. Unlike most Americans, you will live, study and take part in Cuban society, enjoying the country's special eclectic mix of Latin, European and American cultures.

This exciting four-week program is taught in cooperation with our academic partner, the University of Havana and its Centro de Estudios Hemisféricos y sobre Estados Unidos (CEHSEU - Center for Hemispheric and U.S. Studies). You'll choose two courses, which focus on Cuban and U.S. relations and Spanish language. All courses are taught in English, except the Spanish language classes.
