"An Intimate Evening with Phoebe Snow," which will take place at Tony's di Napoli, Times Square (147 West 43rd Street) on Thursday, September 21st at 6 PM, will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and special performance by Snow at the renowned restaurant. The event will be hosted by 106.7 Lite-FM's
Valerie Smaldone, who also hosts the Broadway celebration parties and Wall of Fame portrait unveilings at Tony's. All proceeds will benefit OCRF. The event will be presented by Two Sides of a Coin Productions.
Phoebe Snow, a native of New York City, recorded her self-titled debut album in 1974 which produced the top five hit "Poetry Man." Snow went on to garner a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist, "establishing herself as a formidable singer/songwriter with an unforgettable voice that spawned numerous albums over the next 15 years," according to press materials. Snow's latest album, "Natural Wonder," contains 10 original new tracks. "Natural Wonder" features Snow's first new material in 14 years.
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization devoted to the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research towards the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer.
