Tony n' Tina's Wedding, the longest-running comedy currently on or off-Broadway, will celebrate its landmark 18th anniversary with a wedding reception on Friday, June 10th at 3 PM in front of the Edison Hotel.

During the festivities, Katherine Oliver, the commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, will present an official proclamation naming June 10th, 2005 Tony n' Tina's Wedding Day in New York City. Tony and Tina, as well as other members of the wacky wedding party, will be on hand to help serve an anniversary cake. The fully-costumed bride will throw her bouquet to a crowd of onlookers with the recipient winning a free pair of tickets to the performance.

Tony n' Tina's Wedding is produced by Jeff Gitlin (who has also presented productions of the audience-participation show in Las Vegas, Maui and Bermuda), and directed by Larry Pellegrini. The show, which was conceived by Nancy Cassaro and written by Artificial Intelligence, currently runs at
Vinnie Black's Coliseum at the Edison Hotel with a cast of 27. It opened at St. Luke's Church on February 14th, 1988 and closed there on May 18th, 2003 before transferring.

The Edison Hotel is located at 221 West 46th Street (between Broadway and 8th), New York City. In the event of rain, the ceremony will move inside the theater at the same address.
