The Broadway vet, who last appeared on the Great White Way in CINDERELLA, will play Carrie Mathison's (Claire Danes) mother. No other details have been revealed about how Clark's character fits into this season's plot.
James Rebhorn, who passed away this year, played Carrie's father in the first three seasons of the show.
HOMELAND just finished filming its fourth season, and the next episode airs this Sunday evening.
Clark recently appeared on the big screen in Archaeology of a Woman. Among Clark's other Broadway credits are The Snow Geese, Sister Act, The Light in the Piazza (which won her 2005 Tony and Drama Desk awards), Urinetown, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Grand Night for Singing and Guys and Dolls.
