Those with rare theatre posters in their collection have the chance to attend the June 11th dress rehearsal for the 2006 Tony Awards.

Tony Awards Productions is on the lookout for posters from the original Broadway productions of The Rose Tattoo, The Crucible and The Subject Was Roses. Those willing to lend posters of the 1951 Tennessee Williams play, 1953 Arthur Miller play and/or 1965 Frank D. Gilroy play will have the chance to grab two free tickets to the Tonys rehearsal at Radio City Music Hall, where the 2006 Tony Awards will be held later in the evening (and broadcast live on CBS).

The posters would be shown as part of an an upcoming exhibit at the New York Public Library featuring posters from all of the 118 shows to win Best Play or Best Musical since the Tonys debuted in 1947. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Tony Awards, the exhibit will be unveiled at a private cocktail party on April 17th and be on display for the public until June 12th.

If in possession of any of the posters, send an e-mail to tonyposters@weproduce.biz.
