Tony-Nominee Mary Bridget Davies Announces Spring Tour with Mia Dyson

On November 12, 2017 Mary Bridget gave birth to a healthy, happy little baby boy!
While pregnant she was fortunate enough to be tapped to narrate the audiobook for Laura Joplin's Love, Janis on Audible. Since her TONY Award nomination in 2014 for Best Lead Actress in a Musical for her role of Janis Joplin in A Night with Janis Joplin, Mary Bridget returned to her first love of music. Performing with Slash, Robbie Krieger of The Doors, Wayne Kramer of MC5 and Ty Taylor of Vintage Trouble allowed Mary to get back to writing her own music (a few tunes with Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra) and touring it again.

This spring MB is teaming up with Mia Dyson, A multiple ARIA (Grammy equivalent) & APRA award-winner, Dyson was recently named one of Australia's top 25 guitarists of all time and has toured with Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Issak, Stevie Nicks, The Waifs and many more. Her 2012 album The Moment received 4 stars)in Rolling Stone. New album release on Single Lock Records in Spring 2018, produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes). The tour kicks off at City Winery in Nashville, TN on Sunday, April 8 th . The following show on Wednesday, April 11 th will be right here in NYC at BB King's and Mary is so grateful to return to NYC and see some familiar faces in the crowd!
