Tony Nominee Helen Mirren Supports SOMETHING ROTTEN! and Loves It

On her night off this week, the queen paid the Bard a visit.

Currently starring in THE AUDIENCE, Helen Mirren attended SOMETHING ROTTEN! on Wednesday and reportedly enjoyed herself. One source says the Tony nominee partook in a standing ovation following the performance and displayed, "more than the reserved British golf clap."

SOMETHING ROTTEN!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, has been nominated for a whopping ten Tony Awards.
