Stage and screen icon Tony Danza ("Who's The Boss," "Taxi"), who made his acclaimed Broadway return this season in the new musical HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, will hit the road in 2016 in the North American Tour of the production. Additional casting, tour dates and venues will be announced at a later date.

HONEYMOON IN VEGAS opened to rave reviews at the Nederlander Theatre on Broadway on January 15, 2015. Ben Brantley of The New York Times called it "Irresistible. A whole lot of delicious fun. Everything you want it to be." Time Out New York said "Four Stars! Too Damn Fun" and New York Magazine raved, "Hilarious!"

Danza's performance received glowing reviews, with Ben Brantley of The New York Times saying, "the career-high work here of MR. BROWN and MR. DANZA is so stealthily sophisticated that it takes you a while to realize the sly genius of what they're doing. The cooler-than-cool spirit of The Rat Pack's chairman of the board, Frank Sinatra, is present in Honeymoon, made flesh by TONY DANZA."

Based on the 1992 Castle Rock Entertainment Motion Picture, HONEYMOON IN VEGAS tells the story of Jack Singer, a regular guy with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Emmy & Golden Globe nominee Danza) - looking for a second chance at love - falls head over heels for Betsy and sets off on a mission to win her love.

Directed by Gary Griffin, and featuring a book by Andrew Bergman and score by three-time Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, with choreography by Denis Jones, the creative team for HONEYMOON IN VEGAS features three-time Tony Award-nominee Anna Louizos (scenic design); Emmy Award-winner Brian C. Hemesath (costume design); Tony Award-winner Howell Binkley (lighting design); Tony Award-winner Scott Lehrer & Drama Desk Award-winner Drew Levy (sound design); Tony and Grammy Award-winner Don Sebesky, Larry Blank, Jason Robert Brown, Charlie Rosen (orchestrations); Tom Murray (music director); and Charles G. LaPointe (hair and wig design).
