He has won a Pulitzer Prize, appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, performed on the Grammy Awards... and that's all just in the past few months. Now Lin-Manuel is taking the Tony Awards by storm, with his HAMILTON having earned a record sixteen nominations. Below, watch as Lin explains how he has come to terms with the success of the show.

HAMILTON is the acclaimed new musical about the scrappy young immigrant AlexanderHamilton, the $10 Founding Father who forever changed America with his revolutionary ideas and actions. During his life cut too short, he served as George Washington's chief aide, was the first Treasury Secretary, a loving husband and father, despised by his fellow Founding Fathers and shot to death by Aaron Burr in their legendary duel.
