Tony Award Nominee John Tartaglia Adds Second Puppet Master Class

Due to an overwhelming response, 2004 Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia has added an additional 5 week Master Class intensive in Theatre and Children's Television style puppetry.

The additional class will be held on the same dates (May 7th-June 4th Saturdays) from 1:30 - 4:30.

John informed BroadwayWorld "one of the perks is that each student will recieve some puppeteering written and practice materials to keep for their own use, as well as a personalized DVD of their work to send to casting directors and to learn from!"

About the class
John will give a three hour course weekly on the kinds of puppetry currently featured on Broadway and on Children's television shows. Including group scene work, musical performances, masterclasses with guest artists, viewings of television and film puppetry classics and one on one training, this is a class for those interested in perfecting the art of puppetry, or those just wanting to try it out for the very first time!

About John Tartaglia
John Tartaglia is a 2004 Tony Award nominee and recipient of the Theatreworld Award, The Clarence Derwent Award and Playbill Online's Leading Man Award for his breakthrough performance as Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q. He's worked for more than 11 years as a puppeteer on Sesame Street and other shows such as Bear in the Big Blue House, Book of Pooh, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, Animal Jam and internationally on Sesame English. His concert performances at Joe's Pub, John Tartaglia AD-LIBerty, have received glowing reviews and several awards and has been playing to sold out crowds.
