 The Actor's Fund will present the 12th Annual Tony Awards® Bash honoring nine time Tony Award nominated Tommy Tune on Sunday June 15th, 2008 at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles.  Florence Henerson will host and Mr. Tune will be presented with the Julie Harris Lifetime Achievement by his "Theatrical God-Mother" Carol Channing. The gala features the only approved live feed of the Tony Awards as they happen in New York.

On November 12, 2003, The President of The United States presented Tommy Tune with the nations' highest honor for Artistic Achievement, The National Medal of Arts. In a private ceremony in the oval office of the White House, Mr. Tune received this honor to add to his already unprecedented nine Tony Awards in four different categories plus, among other accolades, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, two Astaire Awards, the American Dance Award, the Drama League Award, and the George Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement. The evening's festivities will feature an open bar, dinner, a silent auction featuring Broadway memorabilia, Collectibles and Travel packages, and the only live feed of the TONY AWARDS® broadcast from New York.  Previous recipients have included Julie Harris, Gwen Verdon, Charles Durning, Rita Moreno, James Earl Jones, Tyne Daly, Lauren Bacall, Stockard Channing, Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli and Jerry Herman.
