Fresh off his appearance on one of David Letterman's final shows April 16, nationally known stand-up comedian and actor Tom Dreesen brings his exceptional talent to Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road in Munster, with An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra, celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth on Saturday, June 13 at 4 and 8 p.m. Drawing inspiration from his early days on the comedy scene, Dreesen uTses his down-to-earth and warm comic style to take audiences on a journey from his childhood in Harvey, Illinois listening to Sinatra on the jukebox, to touring the nation as his opening act and staying up all night with the musical legend.

From Sinatra's final show and last song, to his final days on earth, An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra features the greatest lessons Dreesen learned from Sinatra. Promising to move spectators to tears and laughter throughout evening, An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra has been hailed as "BRILLIANT, FUNNY, POIGNANT" by The Chicago Tribune, and Larry Wilde, author of "The Great Comedians," calls the one-man show "Excellent material, superb delivery, impeccable timing."

Dreesen has showcased his talent on The Tonight Show with over 60 appearances, and as a frequent guest or fill-in host for Letterman. For 13 years Dreesen toured and opened for Frank Sinatra, and has appeared numerous times with artists like Liza Minnelli, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson and Sammy Davis, Jr., with over 500 appearances as a stand-up comedian on national television.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Dressen has also created an outsanding legacy through his philanthropic efforts, lending his talent to over 100 charities and performing for US troops all over the world, including recently appearing at several bases in Iraq.

Founded in 1991, Theatre at the Center is a year-round professional theater at its home, The Center for Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana. Theatre at the Center is located off I-80/94, just 35 minutes from downtown Chicago, and has free parking.
