Time Out New York Lounge To Present Fashion Forward

The Time Out New York Lounge will present Fashion Forward, New York's only fashion design competition / AIDS benefit - every Wednesday (at 11PM) in May at New World Stages. A fabulous runway show of emerging NYC designers presenting their looks and competing against each other will be followed by concert performances by night life favorites. All designs will be auctioned off at the end of each night with proceeds going to DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS), along with the proceeds from the door.

Hosting Opening Night will be the star of LOGO's "The A List" and winner of "Amazing Race," Reichen Lehmkuhl. Broadway favorite Tituss Burgess ("30 Rock") will perform. New co-hosts and performers will be announced each week.

The Ultimat After-Party, sponsored by Ultimat Vodka, will take place after every show at the Time Out New York Lounge from 12:30am - 3am. Limited open bar opening night, May 4th.

Fashion Forward begins Wednesday, May 4th and continues through the end of May every Wednesday at 11pm. There is a $5 cover charge which will also be donated to DIFFA. The Time Out New York Lounge is located at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

A winner will be determined each week by audience votes and the finale on May 25th will feature multiple looks from each week's winner. Prizes will include a solo Runway Show at New World Stages, cash and more! Hosted by Valentine, along with celebrity guests and live entertainment, this is sure to be the hottest new fashion event of the year! Design contestants are allowed to spend no more than $20 per look and must use previously owned materials. The Time Out New York Lounge also features HAPPY HOUR Monday through Friday evenings from 8pm to 10pm: your second drink is free! There are Drink Specials every night as well!! There's never a cover or minimum!
