Single tickets are on sale today for Manhattan Theatre Club's three productions presented as part of the 2015-2016 season at New York City Center - Stage I: Ripcord, the world premiere comedy by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce; Prodigal Son, the world premiere play written and directed by Tony Award, Pulitzer Prize and Academy Award winner John Patrick Shanley; and the American premiere of Incognito, the new play by Nick Payne, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes.

David Lindsay-Abaire, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Rabbit Hole, Fuddy Meers, and Good People, returns to MTC with Ripcord, a high-stakes comedy about two women of a certain age locked in a no-holds-barred battle to the death, directed by Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce.

A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Assisted Living Facility so when the cantankerous Abby (Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Holland Taylor) is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn (frequent Lindsay-Abaire collaborator and Drama Desk Award winner Marylouise Burke), she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden. As heartfelt as it is deliciously inappropriate, this hilarious world premiere marks the author's sixth collaboration with MTC.

Ripcord stars Drama Desk Award winner Marylouise Burke (Kimberly Akimbo, Fuddy Meers), Rachel Dratch (Love's Labour's Lost, "Saturday Night Live"), Glenn Fitzgerald (Hamlet, The Sixth Sense), Daoud Heidami (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, "What's Your Emergency"), Nate Miller (Peter and the Starcatcher, MTC's Of Good Stock), and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Holland Taylor (Ann, "Two and a Half Men").

The creative team for Ripcord includes Alexander Dodge (scenic design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Jennifer von Mayrhauser (costume design), John Gromada (original music and sound design), and Thomas Schall (fight director).

Ripcord was commissioned by MTC through the Bank of America New American Play Program. Ripcord is a recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award.

Prodigal Son is a passionate, explosive portrait of a young man on the verge of salvation or destruction, written and directed by John Patrick Shanley (of Tony, Academy Award, and Pulitzer Prize fame). A 17-year-old boy (Timothée Chalamet) from The Bronx finds himself suddenly in a private school in New Hampshire. He's violent, gifted, alienated, on fire with a ferocious loneliness. Two faculty members (Tony Award winner Robert Sean Leonard and Chris McGarry) wrestle with the dilemma: Is the kid a star or a disaster?

The world premiere of Prodigal Son marks another exciting step forward in the collaboration between Manhattan Theatre Club and this visceral New York playwright (Doubt, Outside Mullingar).

The cast for Prodigal Son will feature Annika Boras (Chair, An Oresteia), Timothée Chalamet ("Homeland," Interstellar), Tony Award winner Robert Sean Leonard (The Invention of Love, "House"), Chris McGarry (Defiance, Doubt), and David Potters (New York stage debut).

Nick Payne, the acclaimed writer who brought you the sold-out Broadway sensation Constellations, returns to Manhattan Theatre Club with Incognito, an "astonishing and original" (The Telegraph) American premiere play.

A pathologist steals the brain of Albert Einstein; a neuropsychologist embarks on her first romance with another woman; a seizure patient forgets everything but how much he loves his girlfriend. Incognito braids these mysterious stories into one breathtaking whole that asks whether memory and identity are nothing but illusions. Directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt, Outside Mullingar, The City of Conversation), Incognito takes us into the last uncharted realm-the mind.

Casting for Incognito will be announced in the coming weeks.
