Damon Intrabartolo was a gifted composer who passed away last year on August 13th, 2013. He was 39 years old. Damon studied at USC's School of Music, where he was a beloved member of the USC marching band, and went on to orchestrate and conduct many film scores for composer Jon Ottman, including "The Usual Suspects," "Halloween H2O", "Lake Placid," "X2:X-Men United," "Fantastic Four," and "Superman Returns." He also orchestrated and conducted "In Good Company," and the movie "Dreamgirls." Intrbartolo is most known for his beautiful musical "bare" which won him the Los Angeles Ovation Award, the Backstage Garland Award, the LA Drama Critics Award, and the LA Weekly Award for best Original Score & Best Musical. "bare" is loved internationally by musical theater fans, and has over 100 productions, including London, Toronto, Sydney Australia, and the Philippines.
Damon's latest musical "RIDE" will be announcing dates and venue for its New York opening this spring. The February 24th concert is a benefit for the "Damon Intrabartolo Fund", aiding those facing the challenges of addiction and mental health issues. The money raised will be donated specifically for Crystal Meth Recovery and Mental Health Services through the Gay and Lesbian Center in the city of Los Angles where Damon lived in for 15 years.

Damon's close friends and collaborators (Kristin Hanggi, Kelly Devine, Daniel Miles, Steve Saporito, Danny Feldman, Rye Mullis, Anthony Cantalupo & Ryan Raftery) are organizing this concert to raise awareness around the challenges of addiction and mental health, and to spread the beautiful music of Damon Intrabartolo. Specifically, they hope that with awareness and education we can shed light on a crystal meth epidemic that is consuming too many young lives.
