Tickets for Williamstown Theatre Fest Go On Sale June 9

The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that tickets for its 2006 season will be available online at wtfestival.org beginning Friday, June 9. On the website, theatergoers can access the full inventory of tickets, with exact seating locations, 24 hours a day.

The Festival recently announced that Sharon Lawrence, whose work on TV includes "NYPD Blue," "Desperate Housewive"s and the upcoming "Hidden Palms," will play the role of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes and that Emmy Rossum, whose film work includes Poseidon, The Phantom of the Opera, in which she played the lead Christine Daae, Mystic River and The Day After Tomorrow, will play the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.

The Festival's season includes new productions of classic plays as well as new work in the '62 Center for Theatre and Dance on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachuetts.

Performances are Tuesdays – Fridays at 8:00, Saturdays at 8:30, with matinees Thursdays at 3:00, Saturdays at 4:00 and Sundays at 2:00. Tickets are priced from $30 to $61 for Main Stage performances, and $33 to $35 for performances on the Nikos Stage. Both the Main Stage and the Nikos Stage are handicapped accessible and equipped with assistive listening devices for the hard of hearing.
