This Sunday, June 18th at noon, patrons will be able to buy single tickets to the second half of La Jolla Playhouse's season, including the highly anticipated, re-imagined spectacular The Wiz, helmed by two time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff.

Available for purchase are:

--The world premiere comedy Culture Clash's Zorro in Hell: "El Zorro—is he alive and well or lost in the Hollywood Hills? Latino comedy troupe Culture Clash unmasks the legend of Zorro with their irreverent, incisive and zany brand of mayhem and humor," state press notes. Culture Clash's Zorro in Hell plays September 30—October 29, 2006 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

--"The beloved musical re-imagining of The Wiz, based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff tricks out Oz and sends Dorothy and her companions easing on down the road in this rock and R&B-infused multi-cultural spectacular." The Wiz plays September 26 – November 26, 2006 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

--The Page To Stage workshop production of The Farnsworth Invention: "In a race that would change humanity forever, two men battle one another for honor, glory and a place in the history books. Written by "The West Wing" creator, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winner Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men), this riveting new drama uncovers the story behind one of the world's most powerful inventions: television." Directed by Des McAnuff, The Farnsworth Invention plays February 20 – March 25, 2007 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.
