Tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 6th for LAByrinth Theater Company's (Co-Artistic Directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz, Executive Director Steve Asher) developmental production of Pretty Chin Up, a new play written by Andrea Ciannavei and directed by Michele Chivu.
"What's the difference between an overweight marketing executive who sells women's lingerie and diet pills and the starving spokesmodel who peddles the goods for the camera? About 100 pounds. This is the premise behind
Pretty Chin Up, a new play by Andrea Ciannavei, which was presented as part of LAByrinth's 2005-2006 Barn Series," state press notes.
Andrea Ciannavei serves as LAByrinth's Literary Manager, and won the New York Independent International Film and Video Festival's Grand Jury Prize for Best Supporting Actress for the film
