The Broadway shows Company, The Little Dog Laughed and A Chorus Line will put on special benefit performances for The Actors' Fund, the national aid organization for everyone in entertainment.

"Actors' Fund Special Performances are an 80-year theatrical tradition – and a unique evening where Broadway companies generously give their time and talent by adding special shows to their already rigorous schedules.  Since these performances are added on a night when most Broadway houses are dark, the audience is always filled with cast members from other running shows and lots of the entertainment community's brightest stars.  The energy adds an extra sparkle to the event.  Proceeds from all Special Performances go to support the vital programs and services of The Fund," according to press materials.

The Company Actors' Fund performance will be on Sunday, February 4th at 8 p.m. at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).  Ticket prices are $36.25, $81.25, and $111.25.

Starring Raul Esparza and Barbara Walsh/>, among others, Company is directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle/>.  The classic musical about connection and commitment in New York City features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim/> and a book by George Furth.

The final performance The Little Dog Laughed will be on Sunday, February 18th at 8 p.m at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).  Ticket prices are $26.25 and $86.25.

Starring Julie White/>, Tom Everett Scott, Johnny Galecki/> and Ari Graynor/>, Douglas Carter Beane/>'s play is a caustic satire on Hollywood ambition and phoniness.

A Chorus Line's Actors' Fund performance will be on Sunday, March 25th at 7:30 p.m. at The Gerald Schoenfeld/> Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Ticket prices are $86.25 and $111.25.

The revival of the classic 1975 musical, with a score by Marvin Hamlisch/> and Ed Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante/>, is directed by Bob Avian/> (who based the staging on the original work of Michael Bennett/>).  The show stars Charlotte D'Amboise/>, Michael Berresse/> and Deidre Goodwin/>, among others.

The Actors' Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals - both performers and those behind the scenes - in performing arts and entertainment.  Founded in 1882, The Fund serves those in film, theatre, television, music, opera, and dance with a broad spectrum of programs including comprehensive social services, health services, supportive and affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, employment and training services, and skilled nursing and assisted living care.  Administered from offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, The Actors' Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis, or transition.
