Marty Thomas, Kate Pazakis and Brian J. Nash will host Mostly Sondheim!, the Duplex Cabaret Theatre's evening of entertainment and open mic held every Friday evening from 11 PM to 4 AM.

"Mostly Sondheim! is a fun-filled evening of terrific music that ranges from Broadway showtunes to R&B Soul. Hosted by New York theatre veterans Nash, Pazakis and Thomas, the energy of the evening is as unpredictable as the setlist! These three dynamite entertainers have just as impressive a list of credits to their names as the caliber of their respective talents and both host and performer. Throughout the evening they will perform periodically while welcoming audience members to the stage to join in the fun!"

Thomas is a Grammy-nominated recording artist who was a childhood Broadway star. He made his Broadway debut as Colin in The Secret Garden; while still performing in the show, he was named the 1992 Junior Vocalist champion on Ed McMahon's "Star Search," beating out a then unknown Britney Spears. Thomas made his return to the New York stage in the Broadway mega-hit Wicked.  Over the last three years, he has performed on Mondays at the Chelsea nightclub XL.  He has also performed at Therapy's Wednesday Nights in Midtown, hosting their "Cattle Call" show for a year. Yhomas also released a recent self-titled CD.  Visit www.martythomas.com for more information.

Nash has produced albums for singer/songwriters Justin Tranter, Shanna Sharp, and Stacy Allyn Baker, recently made his Kennedy Center and Birdland debut with Natalie Douglas, and works pianist and singer throughout NYC. His first songs were written for a recent edition of TheATrainPlays, and were featured on NPR's "All Things Considered."  He holds a Bachelor's of Music degree from Boston Conservatory, studied record production at Berklee College of Music, and, with Mark Hartman and John Pinckard, is one-third of B Major Theatricals.
