This Friday, September 19 at 12:30 AM (Saturday morning), the Thirteen premiere of THEATER TALK's two-part interview at the piano with legendary composer Charles Strouse

In part one,  the celebrated composer performs "Put on a Happy Face" from his breakthrough hit Bye Bye Birdie, and the beautiful "I Want to Be With You" from Golden Boy (which starred Sammy Davis, Jr.). He also plays and sings some of the earlier, lesser known tunes that helped establish him as one of the most prolific and successful songwriters in the history of the musical theater.

In part 2 on September 26 at 12:30 AM, the Tony Award-winning composer of Annie, Applause and the theme from The Price is Right returns to Theater Talk's Steinway grand, where he performs more of his well-known tunes, including "Easy Street," "NYC," and "Tomorrow" from the smash hit Annie.
