As Tony Awards host Neil Patrick Harris sang in the opening number of the 2013 ceremony: "They're the reason that this season seems to look like Chucky Cheese!" This Broadway season is littered with child actors in major roles, and below BroadwayWorld salutes them all.

Get to know the child stars of the 2013 Broadway season below!


Andrew Cekala & Ashton Woerz
Role: 'Theo' in PIPPIN

Andrew is 12 years old and this is his Broadway debut! Regional credits include: Pippin, Marie Antoinette, A.R.T.; All My Sons, Huntington Theatre; The Life of Galileo, Underground Railway Theatre; A Christmas Story (IRNE Nomination), NewRep; Ragtime, Berklee College of Music; other Boston-area theaters.

Ashton's Broadway credits include: Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Broadway Workshop: Big Fish. National Tour: Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Yale Rep: Marie Antoinette. Various film/TV projects.


Jaden Jordan & Caleb McLaughlin
Role: 'Young Simba' in THE LION KING

Jaden has always enjoyed performing. Today as an ensemble member with the Tada Youth Theater he recently completed his fourth production "The Little Moon Theater".

Caleb, 10 years old, is making his Broadway debut in The Lion King. Caleb has performed in several productions, most recently the Kurt Weill/Maxwell Anderson Opera Lost in the Stars. Caleb is so grateful for this amazing adventure.


Sebastian Hedges Thomas
Role: 'Young Charlie' in KINKY BOOTS

Sebastian's Broadway credits include: Priscilla Queen of the Desert as Benji. National Tour:Beauty and the Beast as Chip.

Marquise Neal
Role: 'Young Lola' in KINKY BOOTS

Marquise's Regional credits include: The Wiz of Oz. TV: "Law & Order," "NYU 22," Winner of McDonald Gospelfest 2011. Thanks to Agent Barry Kolker, Manager, LaFrances, KRS, John Blassingame.


Bobbi Bordley & Teshi Thomas
Role: 'Young Nala' in THE LION KING

Bobbi, now 10, started her journey at the age of 4. Dancing and singer her way to The Lion Kingstage, she's appeared in various television shows/commercials.

Teshi is making her Broadway debut in The Lion King.


Raymond Luke, Jr. & Darius Kaleb
Role: 'Young Berry Gordy, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder' in MOTOWN

Raymond has been singing since he was 3 years old after being taught by his grandmother. In the summer of 2011, he attended Beverly Hills Acting School FABA (For Actors by Actors) President Alex Fieldman. He graduated earlier this year and has completed two commercials for Toys"R"Us and Volkswagen in association with ESPN. Stage credits include the Tammi Mac Minute Mixer hosted by Vanessa Bell Calloway and Tammi Mac, and he has also sung the National Anthem for the Penny Marshall Celebrity Softball game. Film:Bad Father, directed and produced by Jerry Jackson, and is currently shooting the film Failure is Not an Option, written by Lavell Grisom. He is also a band member of The New Group "3 plus 1."

Darius is making his Broadway debut. Just off Thriller Live/ World Tour Japan as Young MJ., Darius Kaleb is an accomplished singer, actor, model, orator and drummer. His group, The Brothers Harris, for which he is the drummer, is requested all over the world. Darius Kaleb's credits include: Theater: Thriller Live/ World Tour Japan, A Lions Tale. Print Work - Baby Gap, Hecht's, Strawbridges (extensive), PSA's (extensive), Commercials, Carnegie Hall, touring (international) and performing.


Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon & Milly Shapiro
Role: 'Matilda' in MATILDA

Sophia, age 9, is making her Broadway debut! She appeared in the last six productions of the Nutcracker at Purchase College, Conservatory of Dance.

This is Oona's Broadway debut. A native New Yorker, she appeared onstage in Woody Guthrie Dreams, Seussical, Scout in Mockingbird, audience award for Cosmic Fruit Bowl. Film/TV: Penny Dreadful, Days Dance, Esther, Louie, A Little Game

Bailey is making her Broadway debut! National tour: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Cindy Lou). Regional: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Fulton Opera House).

Milly is making her Broadway debut. Regional: Annie, Young Cossette, Baby June.


Joshua Colley & Nicholas Lampiasi
Role: 'Les' in NEWSIES

Joshua is making his Broadway debut in Newsies. Previous credits include: National Tour -25th Anniversary of Les Miserables (Gavroche), A Christmas Carol (Tiny Tim). Regional: Jungle Book (Mowglie). Voice Over: Play'N Around Theatre Company.

Nicholas is making his Broadway debut in Newsies! He was previously in the 2nd National Tour of Billy Elliot (Small Boy) and has appeared in many commercials.


Laurel Griggs & Jillian Lebling
Role: 'Ivanka' in ONCE

Laurel is back on Broadway in Once! She made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Other acting credits include numerous voiceovers and commercials.

Jillian is making her Broadway debut! Aside from singing and dancing, Jillian loves fishing and spending time with her family at the beach.


Ethan Khusidman & Teddy Walsh
Role: Young Shlomo/Joel, Young Eli Chaim/Ira' in SOUL DOCTOR

Ethan's Broadway credits include: Chaplin. Workshops: Miracle on 34th Street, Fly, Millions, On Borrowed Time. National tour: LES MISERABLES. Film: Dark Was the Night. TV: "WKUK," "Sesame Street."

Teddy makes his Broadway debut in Soul Doctor. Teddy's first theatrical role was in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular as Ben. He is also an Emmy-nominated voiceover actor, cast in animated television series for Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.


Taylor Richardson & Sadie Sink
Role: 'Annie' in ANNIE

Taylor is making her Broadway debut at 11. Regional credits include: Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Susan Waverly) and Honk!. She hails from Virginia.

Sadie is an 11 yr old from Brenham, Texas. Regional credits include: Annie (Annie), White Christmas (Susan Waverly). Other favorites: The Miracle Worker (Helen Keller), The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox).
