Theatre for One Announces Extension with Special Appearances by Bill Irwin

Theatre for One will extend its installation of In This Moment at The Pershing Square Signature Center until December 5, 2016, due to popular demand. The extension week will feature repeat performances of 5 of the plays that premiered in Theatre for One's state-of-the art, custom-designed mobile 4 by 8 foot performance venue designed for one performer and one audience member at a time.

In This Moment features original plays by Signature playwrights who were commissioned to create short plays in response to the phrase, "In This Moment." The extension week includes This Moment After, performed by Myra Lucretia Taylor and written by ReGina Taylor immediately following the general election on November 8, 2016. Bill Irwin will appear for the first time in his own play, He Built This, which was initially performed by Marcus Crawford Guy. Additional performances include This Magic Moment by Lee Blessing and featuring Lorenzo Pisoni; Golden State Freeway by John Guare and featuring Frank Harts; and Talking to my Husband, with some iPhone by Charles Mee and featuring Maggie Lacey.

At each performance of In This Moment, audience members will line up to take a turn experiencing one of the three short plays on offer each day. Audience members have the opportunity to return to In This Moment to see additional plays.

Reservations for Theatre For One will be available 24 hours in advance of each day of performance. Audience members can make reservations by visiting http://theatreforone.com/ or line up on site at the noted "walk up" times below. All performances are free.

In this Moment is directed by Artistic Director Christine Jones and Associate Artistic Director Jenny Koons, produced by Octopus Theatricals and True Love Productions.
