Everything old is news again! It's 1984. Nuclear Follies is a topical musical comedy revue about an inept President flanked by a warhawk General and a teflon aide getting all their impending WWIII bulletins from a single news network, rife with advice on the evacuation of New York and the best ways to survive a nuclear blast. Once WWIII starts, The President takes refuge at a Shelter Cabaret with the best remaining entertainers around. Song titles include, "Evil Russian Guys," "The Triumph of Ideology," "Star Wars Blues," "Winnable War," and "Nuclear War Really Brings Me Down."

"With daily news reports about our political leaders going off the rails, we have moved well beyond macabre comedy to outright fear. In 1984, under Reagan, we were obsessed with the Russians, dealing with the "Star Wars Initiative" (now known as "Space Force"), and speaking in hushed tones about Armageddon. Langdon and Peret wrote Nuclear Follies as a way to laugh at that absurdity. Thirty years later, sadly nothing much has changed. So as we get closer to the midterm elections we wanted to encourage all New Yorkers to vote, as well as provide a little laughter to get us all through this together." Nuclear Follies director, Daniel Neiden.

The cast features Derek Ferguson (Broadway: Wonderland; TV: "SMASH"), Jonathan Hadley (Broadway: A Class Act; National Tour: Jersey Boys); Drew McVety (Broadway: Bandstand, The Front Page, The Last Ship, Billy Elliot), and William Michals (Broadway: Bright Star, South Pacific, Beauty and the Beast; TV: "Blue Bloods," "Law and Order"), and Lainie Munro (National Tour: My Fair Lady); with Charles Czarnecki (Broadway: Jersey Boys) on piano.
