Theatre C will present the CELEBRATION OF C, a three year Anniversary party on November 11, 2012 from 6-8:30pm at The (new) Cutting Room located at 44 East 32nd Street, NYC.

Bring your dancing shoes and prepare to get your party on with the Main Event of the evening which will feature a concert presentation of their latest project in development “54” The Musical written by Renée Bang Allen and directed by Carlos Armesto. “54" The Musical is a chance to revisit a brief, but revolutionary period of popular music and culture - the disco era – as we follow two couples exploring and celebrating history being made, while following the evolution of music from funk to disco.

Presenting some of your favorite disco dancing tunes of all time such as, Le Freak, MacArthur Park, Play that Funky Music White Boy, Disco Inferno, and Boogie Oogie Oogie, just to name a few.

This celebration bash will feature singers Renée Bang Allen ( B’ways Company, Tommy Tunes Grand Hotel Tour), Chris Hall (Bedbugs The Musical, Hedwig & the Angry Inch L!VE Asbury Park), Billy Lewis (Hair Tour, Spring Awakening Tour), Ashanti J’aria (B’ways Saturday Night Fever, The Last Smoker in America), Bruce Sabath (B’ways Company, Hello Again), Jared Joseph, Aliya Bowles (Spring Awakening Tour), Crystal Sha’nae (The Who’s Tommy), and Chelsea Zeno (Spring Awakening, Little Shop of Horrors) with dancers Holly Shunkey, Robin Masella, Shiloh Goodin, Matthew Steffens, Jason Luks, and Casey Lee Ross. Produced by Carlos Armesto, Lauren Rayner, and Renée Bang Allen, the creative team also includes choreographer Elisabetta Spuria, musical direction by Jody Schum, and casting by Alecia Brooks.

The evening will also feature a spectacular movement installation by the acrobatic Kuperman Brothers and a very special surprise guest singer (to be announced soon) with an available full bar and appetizers.

This One Night Only event will serve as a benefit for the upcoming season of the company. Tickets can be purchased at www.theatreC.org Ticket Prices: $50 Cabaret Table / $150 V.I.P. Table with hors d'oeuvres & champagne. Please continue to support live theatre.
