RETRO FACTORY, a project of Theatre C (Binding, The Who's Tommy, Martian Chronicles, Cotton Candy and Cocaine, and the upcoming Odd Man Out), is mounting VOULEZ-VOUS?, their latest installment in their #FlashbackFriday series. Like their debut, "1983 - the radical 80s dance party in June 2018 that paid homage to the late great Pyramid Club - this immersive theater event will be held at the 12,000 square-foot Plaxall Gallery.

The Moulin Rouge was a safe haven for fun and abandon, where people of all walks of life could come to revel, dance, and express their truest self. RETRO FACTORY is also creating a space for everyone to feel welcome and loved; a space of wonder and inclusion.

Partygoers are encouraged to don Belle Epoque-inspired fashions and dance the night away to music spanning the eras spun by Queer DJ Bright Light Bright Light from Club Cumming in the multi-purpose gallery that will become the Moulin Rouge, as designed by designers Frank Oliva (Oklahoma!) and Andrew Garvis.

This immersive experience will include intimate one-on-one experiences guided by the band of mischievous minions lead by opera director Raymond Zilberberg (Tosca at Loft Opera) and flashmob-style recreations of dance numbers from the famed film by Baz Luhrman, choreographed by Chris Gatelli (An American in Paris, The Cher Show), Breton Tyner-Bryan (Alvin Ailey), Omar Nieves Delgado (The Guthrie's West Side Story), Mark Myars (The Cher Show, My Fair Lady), Elisabetta Spuria and Brinda Guha!

Hosts for this party will include three of New York's Queer Voices/Influencers Zach Job, Chad Ryan, and Chris Costa. (Zach and Chad, along with Daniel Nardicio are co-Producers) They will be alongside the main provocateuse; the illustrious and talented Drag Star: Sucia.

Theatre C was founded in 2009 to move audiences and open minds by creating vibrant theatre that mixes the seemingly un-mixable. Theatre C exists to create vibrant theatre through the fusion of different forms of expression. Led by Artistic Director, Carlos Armesto, Theatre C presents plays, musicals and events that meld puppetry and burlesque, video and dance, acrobatics and installations, hip hop rock and salsa, and more. Blurring the line between disciplines and cultures, the company is a part of the next stage in theatre's evolution. The overall intent is to move audiences and open minds. They are best known for their debut show - Jesse Zaritt's Dance piece BINDING, which earned them three Innovative Theatre Awards in 2010. Armesto was lauded as Best Director from The Star Ledger for their production of THE WHO'S TOMMY. COTTON CANDY AND COCAINE was developed at Are Nova as part of its 2014-2015 Uncharted Series.
