Theater Resources Unlimited Announces 6 New Companies Coming To The 2018 Audition Event  Image

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces that Take Wing and Soar/Harlem Shakespeare Festival, Tweiss Productions, The American Renaissance Theatre Company, Open Hydrant Theater Company, Prism Stage Company and Looking Glass Theatre are the most recent companies to join the TRU Audition Weekend, as well as Richard Jordan of Richard Jordan Casting and film/tv casting director Angela Citrola of Citrola Casting! In all, 39 NY area theater companies and commercial production companies,

3 upcoming shows and 12 casting professionals will be sitting in on two days of auditions, with more likely to be confirmed in the next two weeks, making this an exceptional opportunity for actors to be seen for a wide range of opportunities, mostly theater but also some film, TV and commercial work.

The event will take place Saturday May 19th and Sunday May 20th at The Peoples Improv Theater (PIT), 123 E. 24th Street from 10am to 5:30 pm. The space is handicap accessible, and diversity is encouraged. Singing Auditions will be held Saturday, May 19 10:30am - 6pm (monologues will also be required). Non-singing auditions will be held Saturday, May 19 10am - 11am and Sunday, May 20 10am - 6pm.
