Jason Cilo's The Witching Hour:Three Tales of the Unexpected, the Mysterious & the Bizarre will be presented as part of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's Free Theatre series. Directed by Amanda Charlton, the piece will play the Main Stage at Williams College's '62 Center for Theatre and Dance from Monday, July 25th to Sunday, July 31st at 11 AM; there will also be two late-night performances on July 29th at 11 PM and July 30th at 11:30 PM.
"The Witching Hour is adapted from three different short stories. First, something is amiss as a newlywed couple gets more than they bargained for at a creepy seaside English town in Ringing the Changes. Then, a young man obsessed with radio waves tunes in a whole new world of sound in The Sound Machine. And finally, The Canterville Ghost, Oscar Wilde's classic and hilarious take on the genre, rounds out the thrills, chills, and wickedly wry comedy," state production notes.
Leavey Ballou, Craig Colfelt, Elliotte Crowell, Van Hansis, Erin McMonagle, Nyambi Nyambi, Ben Pelteson, Jonathan Kells Phillips, Vayu O'Donnell, Rob O'Hare and Liz Wisan are featured in the cast of the play.
