The Village Playwrights, New York's long-standing Gay playwrights collective, are seeking short plays (10-20 minutes in length) for a June Group show to celebrate Gay Pride.

To submit, just bring your piece in for a reading by calling Emanuel at 212-645-1514 or emailing Phryxus@aol.com. The Village Playwrights make an effort to include beginning writers-as well as seasoned writers. All playwrights are supported and encouraged to hear and find their own voice regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Works for reading can be short or full length, incomplete or, of course, complete. Audience feedback is structured to be constructive and helpful to the playwright.

For submission guidelines, see http://villageplaywrights.googlepages.com.

The second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the LGBT Communty Center, 208 W. 13th Street, Room 203, NYC. To submit a play for reading call Emanuel at 212-645-1514 or email Phryxus@aol.com.
