The Village Playwrights Announce Call for Submissions for QUEER SCARE III

The Village Playwrights announce a call for submissions for QUEER SCARE III, an evening of staged readings of 10 minute plays to celebrate Halloween on Oct 26, 2016 from 8 to 10 pm at the LGBT Community Center.

Playwrights must be from Metro New York area. Plays must be under 10 minutes and have a LGBTQ and Halloween theme. Plays are to be read script in hand, minimally staged with no props; actors must stand. Playwrights must produce the reading of their own play, including casting and a minimum of 2 hours rehearsal. The deadline is Friday, September 30, 2016 at 5 pm. There is no fee to submit

To submit, send your play as an attachment to villageplaywrights@gmail.com. Include your name and contact information in the body of the email, but not on the script and add the name of the script on the subject line.

The Village Playwrights meet at 8 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the LGBT Center, 208 W. 13th Street. Participation is open to all Playwrights and Screenwriters.
