At the 92nd Street Y Tribeca (200 Hudson Street) on Wednesday December 2 at 9pm. Tickets are $10 and available at the door or in advance at http://www.92ytribeca.org.

The night will showcase songs from Jarrow's various theater pieces-including the critically acclaimed Hostage Song and A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant-as well as from his bands The Fabulous Entourage and Super Mirage. Mr. Jarrow, who will also perform on keyboards and sing, is supported by a large ensemble whose talents span the divides between music-theater, indie rock, and performance art, all of whom have worked with Jarrow in various capacities throughout his career as a playwright, composer, and band leader in New York City. Expect a freewheeling glam rock extravaganza with a downtown edge and a Broadway pedigree. Plus Solid Gold style backup dancers!

Jarrow and musical director Nathan Leigh - who also co-wrote a number of the songs featured in the evening - have assembled a powerhouse 5-piece rock band, a string section, and a coterie of incomparable vocalists, including Libby Winters (American Idiot), Lauren Worsham (Spelling Bee, Candide at City Opera), Caesar Samayoa (Hot Feet, upcoming Havana), and Susan Goodwillie (Mourning Becomes Electra). Special guests include Alison Fraser (Gypsy, Tony Award nominee for Secret Garden), Jeb Brown (High Fidelity, Ring of Fire), Paul Thureen, Hanna Cheek, and more. ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Kyle Jarrow is an Obie Award-winning playwright and composer, as well as a member of the rock bands The Fabulous Entourage and Super Mirage. A fixture on the downtown scene, he's known for combining rock and performance into a high-energy hybrid. His plays include A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, Hostage Song, Armless(currently being made into a feature film), Love Kills, and Gorilla Manamong others. His new musical Whisper House, co-written with Duncan Sheik (Tony Award winner for Spring Awakening), opens at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego this winter. Mr. Jarrow has been called "NYC's hipster playwright" by The New York Times. The Village Voice praised his "pop rock scores, irony so thick it's spoon edible, [and] unexpected tenderness." Paper Magazine called his band The Fabulous Entourage "Entrancing... it's as if the Scissor Sisters and Hedwig got together to cover old Meat Loaf songs. In other words, it's absolutely fabulous."

Travis Chamberlain (director) is a director, producer, curator, video artist, musician, and choreographer based in New York City. Since 2007, Chamberlain has produced and curated performances and lectures on the topic of new ideas in contemporary art as the New Museum's public programs coordinator. The New York Times recently commented: "In a city whose big, entrenched art institutions don't always know what to do with performance, over the last couple of years Mr. Chamberlain has been quietly and steadily building relationships within various live art disciplines, making the New Museum an increasingly vibrant hub of residencies and events." From 2004-2007, Chamberlain served as the Artistic Director of Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn. A member of Lincoln Center Theater's Directors Lab, Mr. Chamberlain has produced and directed engagements at Performance Space 122, The Public Theater, Whitney Museum of American Art, BAMCafe, Ars Nova, HERE Arts Center, Dixon Place, Danspace, and many others. Chamberlain and Jarrow are also the founding members of the glam rock band The Fabulous Entourage.

Nathan Leigh (music director) is a composer, sound designer, musical director, and arranger. His theater credits include work at Berkshire Theatre Festival, ART, Speakeasy Stage Company, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, The Ohio Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Theatre Row, and Performance Space 122. Mr. Leigh currently plays guitar and sings in the rock bands A Thousand Ships and Super Mirage. He has collaborated with Mr. Jarrow on the scores for the musicals Big Money and The Consequences, and did the arrangements for Jarrow's Love Kills.
