The Shrill Collective presents THE FIRST ANNUAL SHRILLFEST.

2 Nights. 4 Short plays. All female playwrights. All for charity.

After receiving nearly 20 new play submissions this summer, The Shrill Collective is proud to give 4 short plays, written by female playwrights, a stage to be seen by New York audiences.

Proceeds from ShrillFest will be donated to, 826NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills; encouraging exploration of endless possibility through the power of writing.

ShrillFest runs for 2 NIGHTS ONLY this weekend at The Matthew Corozine Theatre, with a different set of short plays on the bill each night.

The Shrill Collective is a group of female identifying artists striving to affect positive change in their community through the performing arts. We seek to create space for women's voices and issues to be heard while raising funds for charitable organizations through intimate readings and stagings of contemporary, classical, and original works.
