The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band Play Cornelia Street Cafe 7/4

The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band will play the Cornelia Street Cafe on July 4 as a celebration of the cafe's 33rd birthday. The celebration will last all day with a performance from the band at 2 PM.

The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band is a project of the Bond Street Theatre which was founded in 1976 (amazingly, they are even older than we are). The company creates innovative pieces that address social and environmental issues. Their work brings them to refugee camps, areas of conflict and post-war environments, where they collaborate with local artists to promote the value of the arts in shaping a peaceful future. We very much approve. PS. They also dance and make music.
