ARTS Summer Camp at P.S. 3, the Bedford Village School is now accepting applications. Three diverse organizations devoted to providing quality entertainment and education experiences for children are joining forces to produce an ARTS centered summer camp in Brooklyn's Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Veteran entertainment group the Shadowbox Theatre, Nashville's award winning FunikiJam Music, and P.S. 3 will present a program that is sure to please both kids and their parents. Did we mention that tuition is $300 for 20 days of camp? That's only $15 per day!

With small classes grouped by age, professional instruction and free meals, P.S. 3 Summer Camp is for students from kindergarten through 6th grade. Camp will meet on weekdays from July 5th through August 1st. A typical camp day begins with free breakfast at 8:30 am. Classes in music, art, theatre/puppetry and creative writing are held from 9am - 12:30. Camp day ends with lunch at 12:30 and dismissal at 1:00 pm.

Registration opened last week and spots are filling fast. Limited enrollment is available on a first come first serve basis. Some scholarship may be offered. If you would like to enroll or sponsor a student at camp, enrollment forms are available at P.S. 3, 50 Jefferson Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11216, by phone 706.889.6395 or email brian@funikijam.com.
