The Producers Film Receives 4 Golden Globe Nods

The Golden Globe nominations were released this morning, with The Producers film garnering four, including Best Picture (Musical/Comedy), Best Actor in a Musical / Comedy (Nathan Lane), Best Supporting Actor (Will Ferrell), and Best New Song ('There's Nothing Like a Show on Broadway').

The Producers
, directed by Susan Stroman and featuring original stars Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Roger Bart and Gary Beach, as well as Will Ferrell and Uma Thurman, will play select cities beginning on December 16th and will open nationwide on Christmas Day. The movie musical will be released by Universal Pictures.

The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place Monday, January 16, 2006, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with a live telecast airing on NBC at 8 p.m. (EST) and produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
