The Platform Group Hosts Summer Scavenger Hunt in NYC Today

Today The Platform Group will host a summer scavenger hunt that will celebrate their 6th year as a theatre company with all proceeds benefiting Roughly Speaking a new play about the homeless the company is producing in the fall. The hunt leaves from Jack Dempsey's Bar at 36 west 33rd St NY NY 10001, with duos or teams up to four people. Hunters can sign up individually and join teams at the venue if they wish. Teams will find an exciting way of seeing the city in a new way, meet new people, and having bucket loads of fun along the way and celebrate the summer with an innovative theatre company! Armed with a smartphone, sharp ingenuity, high levels of energy, and all-important team spirit; race around the city searching for clues to the finish line.

The hunt's guide will be your cellphone! Your team is given clues to various places around the city that you need to find and take photos with on your smartphone. Teams take photos with things like a hot dog vendor, a woman wearing red heels or a bride, but everything is summer themed. There are roadblocks and detours like any good scavenger hunt and a few surprises along the way. Once at the finish line scores will be tallied, and prizes given to the winners! Door prizes! Drink specials! Cupcake toast! Sneak peak of Roughly Speaking and more will all make this an event not to be missed!
