The PIT is proud to announce the latest theatrical comedy by the playwright and creative team behind the 4-time extended epic geek comedy hit Kapow-i GoGo: Matt Cox's Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.

Some people are born to do great things. Some people change the world. Some people rise from humble beginnings to beat back the forces of darkness in the face of insurmountable odds. Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic is the story of the people who sit in class next to those people. And badgers.

Wayne Hopkins--a boy from New Mexico who is neither brave, smart, nor a snake--finds out he's a wizard. Upon arrival at a certain school of magic and magic, he's placed into the Puffs: a group of well meaning, loyal rejects. Over seven increasingly eventful years, he'll try to learn magic; try to get out of the shadow of his world-famous nemesis; and try to not to get hurt in what is actually a very dangerous place for unsupervised children to be. Sometimes he will succeed. Partially.

Puffs is written by Matt Cox (Kapow-i GoGo), directed by Kristin McCarthy Parker (Hold on to Your Butts), and produced by Stephen Stout and Colin Waitt. Production design by Liz Blessing and Madeleine Bundy; lighting design by Michelle Kelleher, sound design by Matt Cox, costume and graphics design by Madeleine Bundy. Featuring Langston Belton, Madeleine Bundy, Jessie Cannizzaro, Nick Carillo, AJ Ditty, Julie Ann Earls, Evan Maltby, Andy Miller, Zac Moon, Ellie Philips and Stephen Stout.

Puffs will play December 3rd, 4th, 5th and 10th at 9:30pm; December 14th at 9:00pm; and January 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th at 8:00pm. All tickets are $10 and available here at thepit-nyc.com.
