The Park Avenue Chamber Symphony has announced its 15th Anniversary Season, 2013-2014. Since its founding, the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony has brought compelling performances of classical music to its New York audiences and worldwide with its catalogue of recordings.

The orchestra begins its season featuring two young soloists-Daniela Liebman, pianist & Jourdan Urbach, violinist-in a performance at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage of Carnegie Hall on October 27th, 2013 at 2PM. This performance marks Daniela Liebman's Carneige Hall debut, and Jouran Urbach's third appearance at the famed concert venue. The program includes Shostakovich's witty Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring Liebman, Brahms' sublime Violin Concerto, featuring Urbach, as well as Tchaikovsky's exciting and romantic Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture and Dvo?ák's brilliant Carnival Overture. Performances of this program will also be given on October 19th and 20th at the orchestra's regular concert venue, All Saints Church on the Upper East Side of New York City.

On February 22nd and 23rd 2014, the orchestra will feature soprano Tamra Paselk in Barber's poignant and dreamlike depiction of an evening in the American South. Also on this program is Beethoven's beautiful Symphony No. 2, and Bartók's Dance Suite-written to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the unification of Buda and Pest, incorporating dances with Arabic, Wallachian and Hungarian melodies.

Finally the orchestra brings the season to a close on May 3rd and 4th, 2014 featuring award winning pianist Spencer Myer in Brahms elegant and sublime Piano Concerto No. 2, paired with Dvo?ák's thrilling Symphony No. 8.

"I am extremely proud of this orchestra," says Park Avenue Chamber Symphony's music director David Bernard. "We are thrilled to help the brilliant and talented Daniela Liebman make her Carnegie Hall debut, and bring our audiences this stella collection of soloists during our 2013-2014 season. The programs, artists and orchestra will surely delight our audiences this season."
