The New Victory Theater and Children's Museum of Manhattan today announced "Feats and Beats," a workshop where families can get a taste of the Brazilian art form capoeira – a fun and energetic combination of dance, martial arts and music. "Feats and Beats" is inspired by the show Brazil! Brazil!, a South American celebration that blends the rhythms of Rio Carnaval with acrobatics and soccer-inspired street dance, which will run The New Victory Theater from February 10 through 26.

Lead by New Victory Teaching Artists, "Feats and Beats" is a collaboration between The New Victory Theater and Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) – two of New York City's leading cultural institutions for young people, committed to active play and artistic engagement for families.

"Feats and Beats" is recommended for ages 4 and older.
