Rockland's only dinner theatre, The Mulberry Street Grill Supper Club and Caterers, kicks off its 2010 season with the hilarious musical comedy, "Nunsense." The show runs through March 14 with dinner shows on Friday and Saturday evenings, a 12 course gala sit-down Sunday brunch and weekday lunch shows.
"Nunsense" is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a
fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise
prepared by Sister Julia. Thus, the remaining nuns - ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise
Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina and
mistress of the novices Sister
Mary Hubert - stage a talent show in order to raise the money
to bury their dearly departed.
The Mulberry Street Grill offers an intimate atmosphere with excellent continental cuisine. Both the dinner and lunch shows include a choice of appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert and coffee.
So whether you plan to eat and watch or watch and eat, it's going to be great time at Mulberry Street Grill, located in quaint downtown Nanuet at 149 South Middletown Road.
