The Meyer Rossabi Band Comes To Don Hills 6/4

The Meyer Rossabi Band featuring New York City Blues guitarist Meyer Rossabi, will unleash their electrifying live sound at Don Hills on Friday, June 4 at 8:45 pm. This special live performance will feature songs from Rossabi's CD Just A Little Taste of the Blues, as well as tracks from Rossabi's upcoming release Blues Is The Color. The Meyer Rossabi Band will also feature on bass Frankie Cheez and drummer John Thomas.

Don Hills is located at 511 Greenwich Street at Spring Street. Admission is $10.00.

Meyer Rossabi is a singer, composer and blues guitarist dedicated to keeping the legacy of the Blues alive. Influenced and inspired by artists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Healy, Les Paul, StEve Ray Vaughn, and Johnny Winter, Rossabi takes the music of his predecessors and brings it to a new level. Renowned for his firey guitar solos and his smooth soulful voice, Meyer Rossabi is an exciting new voice in American music. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Gary US Bonds and Chuck Berry. Meyer co-wrote the song "Don't Blame Me," featuring vocals by Joan Jett. Meyer wrote the opening song and additional music for the movie "Brooklyn Boys." Meyer's current release, Just A Little Taste of the Blues, is being played on Blues stations across the U.S. and around the world. Frankie Cheez has toured the globe as guitar technician and / or sound engineer for world-renowned artists: 3 Doors Down, The Misfits, American Hi-Fi and many others. During this period, Frankie has also written songs with The Misfits and Gwar. Frankie is currently working in the studio and producing tracks with Marky Ramone for his band "Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg". He is also is the studio with "Gorgeous Frankenstein" ( featuring Ex-Misfit guitarist Doyle), recording the follow up to their self-titled debut album. John Thomas is a well seasoned and in demand Rock-Pop-Blues Drummer. He currently sets up the "Big Pocket" with The Blue Meanies, a 60's-70's Tribute Band and also plays with Rock legend Jimmie Mack. "JT" has extensive studio work to his credit as well, recording with such Artists as Mike Caro, Dennis Del Gaudio, Jimmy Ninja, Frankee, Rueben Gomez,Orphan and others.
