After a nationwide debut on CNBC's The Profit, Pure Lano is now launching its innovative, natural skincare and cosmetics collection.
Taking advice from the Marcus Lemonis, founder and owner, Miranda Coggins, is refocusing on the initial concept of The Lano Company, the ultra-healing qualities of lanolin and benefits of natural ingredients.
Coggins was inspired to create The Lano Company after discovering the healing properties of lanolin prescribed by her doctor post pregnancy. Searching to no avail for a lanolin-based lip balm, she formulated her own with the vision of helping aid chronic chapped lip sufferers like herself. However, this mission was blurred as The Lano Company continued to grow and expand and try to meet the market demands of the salon industry.
"I had definitely kind of fallen away from where my roots were, which was the LanoLip Story," Coggins says. "And that has always been my goal: to help people with chapped lips and develop a product that people loved and that was naturally based and of course included lanolin."
Pure Lano aims to produce scientifically formulated, natural based products that enhance the health and beauty of the skin through nourishing ingredients that soothe and protect. The new line features upscale packaging, minimalistic style and effective ingredients. The brand launch is accompanied by a new e-commerce website, PureLano.com, which will feature skincare, body care, lip care and hair care, all with the signature lanolin-based formulas for intense hydration.
Coggins plans to expand the Pure Lano brand by offering a storefront in hometown Kansas City mid 2016, while exploring luxury retail partnerships around the United States.
