The Jewish Museum and the New School for Public Engagement are presenting In Dialogue, a series of performative dialogues between experts in diverse fields in conjunction with the Museum's new exhibition, As it were ... so to speak: A Museum Collection in Dialogue with Barbara Bloom. Each evening concentrates on a different aspect of "dialogue," pairing speakers demonstrating theory and practice. Unlike traditional conversations, the speakers do not engage with one another, each addresses the subject at hand and the audience members directly. The series begins at The Jewish Museum on March 6 with Dialogue between texts: Daniel Boyarin and Chris Mann.

Programs will take place at both The Jewish Museum and the New School. The March 21 and April 11 programs are free with Pay What You Wish admission to the Museum. All other programs are free. For additional information, the public may visit TheJewishMuseum.org/publicprograms or NewSchool.edu/Events.
