Fresh off a rootin' tootin' run in Provincetown, New England's premiere comedic theatrical troupe, The Gold Dust Orphans, are set to bring their critically acclaimed musical Western back to Boston for two nights only. Yee haw! Cowboys, cowgirls, and cowfolks of all stripes will love this sharp shootin' ride through the sick yet sparkling landscape of "BROKELAHOMO!".

Playing to packed houses in Boston throughout April and May and Provincetown in June through September, audiences were treated to all new songs and dances, buttloads of fabulous costumes, and positively gorgeous sets. For those who missed it the first time around, or those who want to see it again and again, "BROKELAHOMO!" is ready to wrangle up a herd a' fun that is sure to set fire to your saddle and your funny bone! Playing Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 14 at 5:00 pm ONLY! These additional shows in Boston will also serve to help raise funds to send the Gold Dust Orphans to New York City, October 19 - 21, where they will present "BROKELAHOMO!" at Theatre 80 St. Marks. The Orphans also have a GoFundMe campaign set up, where they are accepting donations in any amount to help bring the troupe to New York City. As a reminder, and for those who may have missed it... "Brokelahomo" is a town in trouble...

Overrun by dirty, outlaw gays, the few law abiding citizens left must spend their days dodging bullets, putting out church fires and fearing for their pets lives until a heterosexual is sent for. Enter Dusty Rhodes, the unlikely hero of this far out fable set in the groovy 1880s. Will Dusty clean up the town? Or will the gay cattle rustlers and homo hoodlums head him off at the pass? These questions and more will be answered with a hearty "Yippee-I-Oh-So-Gay!" in "BROKELAHOMO!"

What a cast!

Based on the classic films, "Destry Rides Again", "Johnny Guitar" and "Oklahoma!", "BROKELAHOMO!" features all your favorite Orphan stars as well as a few surprises! For instance new Orphan discovery Jeff Blanchette will be playing your hero, "Dusty Rhodes". Orphan favorite Qya Marie will be appearing in her first leading lady role as "Frenchie". Rounding out the cast, Orphan staple Tim Lawton will appear as "Chubbs", sexy newcomer Sam Terry as "Buck Wilde", Scott Martino will play gay villain "Ringo Pink". Orphan leader Ryan Landry will play saloon owner "Vienna" opposite newest Orphan Julee Antonellis as her arch rival, "Emma". Helming the herd as fearless director is Robin JaVonne "Millie" Smith, who will also play the smoldering "Chastity." The list goes on and on! Those who saw it the first time around will be surprised as new vocalists tackle different numbers and a newcomer to the cast is added!

Sent through The Gold Dust Orphans' glitter filled parody machine, "BROKELAHOMO!" is destined to be our greatest show yet! The MOUTHWATERING costumes are naturally by Miss Martino. The TERRIFIC sets are as always by the great Windsor Newton and the STUNNING lighting by Michael Clark Wonson and LUSH soundscapes by Roger Moore! Not to mention SUPERIOR direction by Robin JaVonne Smith, in loving memory of our own Larry Coen.

So join us, won't you, as we bring you perhaps the most delightful Gold Dust Orphans offering to date. Questions? Concerns? Members of the press please contact: Ms. Bubbles Goldberg at this email address, or you may dial Orphans' headquarters directly at: (617) 642 - 6921.
