'The Felicia Finley Project' Plays Joe's Pub 11/16

Felicia Finley (The Wedding Singer, Aida, Catch Me If You Can) is set to make her first New York City appearance with her band at Joe's Pub, 425 Lafayette Street, on Monday November 16th at 9:30pm.

This is Felicia's homecoming concert to New York City after spending the last number of months on the road in a series of productions. Her live performance at the exclusive Joe's Pub will feature all the tracks from her debut album "Great Mood for a Tuesday."

The original crew who recorded the album will be performing, including Chris "The Red Menace" Blisset and Ian Bentley, as well as an ensemble of amazing musicians and singers including Natalie Venetia Belcon (Avenue Q) and Brandon Wardell (Catch Me if You Can, Assassins).

Broadway powerhouse Felicia Finley released her long awaited debut album "Great Mood for a Tuesday" on February 14th. Songs include the dynamic title track, "Satin Soldiers" "Stories", "Closing Time", "My House Tonight" and "Tired of Losin' Sleep'.

Felicia Finley is an award-winning singer/performer. She has appeared on the Broadway stage in such shows as Smokey Joe's Café, Aida, and The Wedding Singer. The dynamic Finley has toured Internationally and has headlined at Caesar's Palace in Atlantic City. She has performed with such artists as Elton John, Clay Walker and Carl Anderson. She has been seen in the Spike Lee films, 25th Hour, Summer of Sam and He Got Game.

Felicia was recently the lead female role Pinky Tuscadaro in the National Tour of Happy Days. The tour spanned the entire United States.

Felicia Finley is also a Manhattan Bistro award winner for Best Cabaret Debut, Outer Critics Circle award for Outstanding Performer and New Jersey Merit Recognition for Best Featured Musical Actress. Her charity work includes appearances for Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids, Habitat for Humanity and many pet organizations.

Finley was last seen in the World Premiere production of the new musical Catch Me If You Can at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre.

Adapted from the screenplay by Jeff Nathanson and the book written by Frank Abagnale Jr. and Stan Redding, Catch Me If You Can, is based on the hit DreamWorks film and boasts a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Terrence McNally, who joins forces with the collaborative team behind the hit musical Hairspray, including five-time Tony Award-winning director Jack O'Brien, Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell, and Tony Award-winning composing team Marc Shaiman (music & lyrics) and Scott Wittman (lyrics).

Joe's Pub at The Public Theater (Director, Shanta Thake; General Manager, Kevin Abbott) debuted in October of 1998 as a performance space dedicated to presenting artists across a variety of genres, and was founded on the principle of showcasing affordable, accessible, and quality entertainment to the people of New York. The intimate space quickly became one of New York's most in demand venues for music, theater, cabaret, dance, and comedy, presenting artists from over 90 countries.
