Following a successful workshop at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, 'The F Trip' travels on to The Zipper Factory Theatre for a series of Tuesday night performances, October 7, 14 & 28 at 7pm. 'The F Trip' is a powerful, hilarious look at where we place our beliefs. See how liars, pigeon poop & big, holy rocks can change your life; three trips, three men, one unbelievably autobiographical solo show. 'The F Trip' is written & performed by Kim Schultz & directed by Jay Aubrey. Set & Lighting Design are by Rachelle Beckerman, with Sound Design by Rob Ingram.

Kim Schultz moved to New York from Minneapolis where she performed at The Guthrie Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Mixed Blood & 10,000 Things. Her New York credits include Genesis Rep, Oberon Theatre, Hampton's Shakespeare Festival & The Themantics Group. Kim has also worked on the Disney Wonder Cruise ship & performed in an HBO Comedy Showcase in LA, the Chicago Improv Festival, as well as produced & acted in a regionally televised comedy improv show called 'Comedy Hotel.' She performs & teaches improv & is the founder of Kim Schultz Improv, a Manhattan-based improv school. She also hosts a monthly comedy & variety show called 'Kim Schultz's Happy Hour.' She also works in film & has an upcoming release, 'Showers of Happiness.'

Director Jay Aubrey is the Founder & Producing Artistic Director of the New York based not-for-profit theatre company The Themantics Group, on productions including the world premiere of 'Cupid & Psyche,' the developmental workshop production of 'Hazard County,' 'Snake in Fridge,' 'Naked & Shopping & F***ing.' In Chicago, Jay worked as a performer, administrator, director &/or producer in commercial & nonprofit organizations, including The Organic Theater, The Goodman, Bailiwick Rep, Marriott Lincolnshire, The Apollo Theater/Lincoln Park, The Mercury Theater, The Royal George & ImprovOlympic. He produced & directed David Drake's 'The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me' & Don Nigro's 'The Girlhood of Shakespeare's Heroines.'

Fred Backus (nytheatre.com) writes of 'The F Trip' : "The F Trip takes us on quite a journey... the resulting piece is at times moving, often funny & always engaging. As a performer, Schultz is tremendously talented & very present-not to mention very funny-and the ease & openness she exudes make you feel like you are re-experiencing her emotional journey in the moment on a very intimate level...the piece moves like a river, swirling rapidly at times & flowing steadily at others & Schultz director Jay Aubrey have created a dynamic that is engaging along every twist & turn."

'The F Trip' will be performed Tuesdays, October 7, 14 & 28 at 7pm at The Zipper Factory Theatre (336 West 37th Street).  Tickets are $20 and reservations may be made at OvationTix (212)352-3101 or via www.thezipperfactory.com or www.theftrip.com.
