The cast of the award-winning Broadway musical The Drowsy Chaperone will appear at Virgin Megastore Times Square (1540 Broadway between 45th and 46th Streets) for a CD signing of the cast recording of The Drowsy Chaperone on Wednesday, June 28th.

The cast----Danny Burstein, Georgia Engel, Sutton Foster, Edward Hibbert, Troy Britton Johnson, Eddie Korbich, Garth Kravits, Jason Kravits, Beth Leavel, Kecia Lewis-Evans, Bob Martin, Jennifer Smith and Lenny Wolpe--will be present from 5:30 PM through 7 PM.

Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records, recently released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Tony Award winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone The CD is produced by Grammy Award-winner and Academy Award-nominee Joel Moss, as well as Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records President Kurt Deutsch. The Drowsy Chaperone cast recording features two bonus tracks ("Message from a Nightingale" and the cut song "I Remember Love"), as well as a color 32-page booklet, including lyrics, production photos, and clippings from Man In Chair's personal theatre memorabilia scrapbook.

The show began previews at The Marquis Theater on April 3, and opened on Monday, May 1. The Drowsy Chaperone won the New York Drama Critics' Circle and Drama Desk Awards for Best Musical and received five Tony Awards, including Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a completely original new musical comedy directed and choreographed by Tony Award-nominee Casey Nicholaw (Spamalot), with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

The Drowsy Chaperone is produced by Kevin McCollum, Roy Miller, Boyett Ostar, Barbara Freitag, Jill Furman and Stephanie McClelland.
