Dramatists Guild Fund President Andrew Lippa and Executive Director Rachel Routh announced today that the Fund will honor two patrons of the arts and philanthropists Lynne Greene, Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., and Louise Camuto, Chief Creative Officer of Camuto Group, at the nonprofit's Gala, Great Writers Thank Their Lucky Stars. Leigh Silverman (Violet, The Wild Party, Chinglish) will direct this year's gala held on October 26 at Gotham Hall.
The fall Gala will also celebrate the career of Gretchen Cryer, who served as President of the Dramatists Guild Fund since 2005.
The special evening pays tribute to some of America's most distinguished dramatists and the artists who bring their words to life on stage. Previous performances include Stephen Schwartz with Ben Vereen (Pippin), Lisa Kron with Sydney Lucas (Fun Home), Sheldon Harnick with Kate Baldwin (Fiorello!), Stephen Trask with Michael Cerveris and Miriam Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman with Kelli O'Hara (The Bridges of Madison County), and Stephen Sondheim with Bernadette Peters (Sunday in the Park with George).
The lineup of writers and their stars will be announced at a later date.

Lynne Greene, Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., has 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, including over 25 years at The Estée Lauder Companies. Ms. Greene oversees all global aspects of six iconic brands. Her portfolio includes Clinique, Origins, Ojon, Aveda, Darphin and the Men's Skincare Group
Ms. Greene is a board member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), the leading organization for women in the beauty industry. She is also a board member of Mercy College and the Deming Cup Council at Columbia University in New York. She most recently received an honorary doctorate degree from LIU Post in Brookville, New York. She also serves on an advisory council to the Chancellor of The University of Missouri.
Ms. Greene's devotion to the development of talent is exhibited through her professional achievements as well as her board affiliations and volunteer work. She is especially interested in mentoring young professionals who exhibit future possibilities in the world of business.
Louise Camuto
Chief Creative Officer of Camuto Group
Louise Camuto is Chief Creative Officer of Camuto Group, a company she co-founded with her late husband, footwear pioneer Vince Camuto (1936-2015). Camuto Group was formed in 2001 as a footwear design, development and distribution resource for retailers. Over the next fourteen years, the Camutos diversified the company, acquired licenses and partners, introduced new brands and built Camuto Group into a global business. Today, the company has over 5,400 points of distribution in more than 70 countries. Vince Camuto retail locations are approaching 100 global outposts and can be found in more than 45 countries.
In 2005, the company launched the Vince Camuto collection, expanding over the next ten years from footwear into more than 30 categories, including accessories, apparel, fragrance, home and menswear. In 2012, Louise Camuto developed her own collection, Louise et Cie, a cultivated line of shoes and jewelry now extending into a full lifestyle brand.
Today, as Chief Creative Officer, Louise directs the creative vision and manages design for the VinceCamuto lifestyle brand as well as Camuto Group's additional brands across 30 categories, including footwear, sportswear, dresses, handbags and jewelry.
Louise is a Board member of Two Ten Foundation as well as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
